Our mission is “To provide humanitarian assistance to those who have been adversely affected by disaster, tragedy, injury, or other misfortune, and to work actively toward preventing or minimizing the impact of such misfortunes in our community.”
The Foundation was formed in 1998 to provide funds to help people in need within the community. The Foundation consists of the following emergency service agencies – Clackamas Fire District #1, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Estacada Fire District #69, Milwaukie Police and Oregon City Police. For those who have experienced a fire, accident or other tragedy, Foundation funds can provide a warm hotel room in the middle of the night, a change of clothes, or necessary toiletries and food until other social services agencies can step in.
